Understanding the Typing Leaderboard
The Simple Typing leaderboard ranks aspirants based on their highest recorded Words Per Minute (WPM) across all practice sessions. This global ranking system helps you understand where you stand compared to other government exam candidates preparing for SSC CHSL, RRB NTPC, UPSSSC PET, CPCT, banking exams, and more.
How Rankings Are Calculated
Each user's best WPM score is used for ranking. The leaderboard displays your peak performance, average accuracy percentage, total number of tests completed, and last active date. You can filter by specific exams to see how you compare with others preparing for the same recruitment process.
Leaderboard Categories
All Exams: Shows top typists across every exam and language combined.
By Exam: Filter to see rankings for specific exams like SSC CHSL (35 WPM required), RRB NTPC (30 WPM required), or UPSSSC PET (25 WPM Hindi required).
By Language: Separate rankings for English typing, Hindi typing, or combined results.
Tips to Climb the Rankings
Focus on accuracy before speed — a clean 30 WPM with 90% accuracy beats a messy 40 WPM with 70% accuracy. Practice daily using Exam Mode with real passages. Use Time Mode to push your speed limits. Review your error patterns and work on weak letter combinations. Consistent practice over 2-3 weeks will show measurable improvement on the leaderboard.
